Monday Evenings:

12 week class block: Monday 23rd March-Monday 22nd June

NO CLASSES Monday 6th April (Easter) or Monday 18th May (Victoria Day)

🌟5:20-6pm: SPC Kinders; JK & SK (born 2020 & 2021)

🌟6:10-7pm: SPC Grades 1 & 2 (born 2018 & 2019)

This term, we’ll be working towards a mini, informal performance titled “Once Upon a Time”.........where storybooks leap off the page and onto the stage! Little performers will explore fairy-tale heroes, cheeky villains and magical characters through music, movement and drama.

What is SPC all about?

 

StrawBubs Performers Club (SPC) is a vibrant Performing Arts program for children in JK-Grade 3 (split into two age groups) including singing, acting and dancing. A great chance for your little one to explore the performing arts without committing to one discipline.  At SPC kids can explore the magic of singing, dance and drama in a fun and welcoming environment! We nurture their confidence and encourage self-expression through fun, engaging and playful activities. It's all about allowing imaginations to soar and creativity to shine! ​

Throughout the 12 week block we will work on the following;

🌟Interactive Drama Games & Dramatic Delivery🌟

Ignite imagination and storytelling skills.

Learn to recite poems/lines with confidence and expression.

 Focus on delivery, projection, speech sound articulation and gestures

🌟Explore vocal potential and build confidence🌟

Through a lively mix of engaging warm-ups, practical exercises, and fun songs

🌟Dancing and movement🌟

To encourage coordination, balance and self expression.

 

🌟Sensory Relaxation🌟
The last 5 minutes of each class will be some sensory relaxation time with bubbles, lights and breathing work

🌟Final Presentation🌟

A relaxed, informal presentation for family members

on the last class of the block

🌟 Bonus performance opportunity: the week before at

Sprucedale Care Centre

💰Investment💰

• SPC Kinders: $220 + HST
• SPC Grades 1–3: $240 + HST
👕 Optional uniform T-shirt: $20 (not mandatory)

Uniform:​
You also have the option to purchase an SPC T-shirt for $20

(plus tax), though it’s completely optional. 
Students should wear comfortable, movement-friendly clothing. Footwear can include ballet or jazz shoes, or clean running shoes.

No hidden costume or recital fees. Just 12 weeks of joyful, creative performing arts fun; ending with an adorable mini-show where your child shines (without a marathon recital!)​​​
