SPC Grade 1 & Grade 2 (Kids born in 2019 & 2020)-Sparkles, Sleigh Bells & Stage Lights! StrawBubs Performers Club (SPC) is a fun and welcoming performing arts program where children can explore singing, dancing and drama all in one class. It's the perfect opportunity to build confidence, encourage self-expression, and spark creativity through engaging, play-based activities. Throughout this 12-week session, children will enjoy: 🌟Fun drama games to spark creativity 🌟Reciting tongue twisters and poems with a focus on delivery, projection, speech sound articulation and gestures 🌟Engaging in singing warm-ups, vocal exercises and short songs 🌟Dancing and movement to encourage coordination, balance and self expression 🌟The last 5 minutes of each class will be some sensory relaxation time with bubbles, lights and breathing work 🌟 Rehearsals for our Christmas presentation, 'Sparkles, Sleigh Bells & Stage Lights' Christmas Presentation: During their final class on December 7th, family and friends are invited to watch the children showcase all the activities they've been working on throughout the class block, along with their festive material 'Sparkles, Sleigh Bells & Stage Lights' ✔ No costume fee (children will wear a festive outfit they already own) ✔ No ticket charge for family and friends Session Details 📅 Mondays, September 14th – December 7th ⏰ 6:10-7pm (50-minute class) 🚫 No class October 12th (Thanksgiving) ⭐ Bonus Performance Opportunity: On November 30th we will also perform to the residents of SpruceDale Care Centre during our normal class time. More details will be confirmed closer to the time! 📍Class Location: St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 34 Head St N, Strathroy Investment: All students require a yellow SPC T-shirt as uniform for classes. Please select the ticket option that applies to your child: Class Fee + SPC T-Shirt: $260 + HST (For students who need an SPC T-shirt.) Class Fee Only: $240 + HST (For students who already have an SPC T-shirt that still fits.) Flexible payment options available: ✔ Pay in full upon registration ✔ Secure your spot with a $50 deposit plus tax and pay the balance by August 24th Children should wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement. Ballet shoes, jazz shoes, clean running shoes or bare feet are welcome. A waiting area is available for parents who wish to remain on-site during class.
