5:20PM: StrawBubs Performers Club

SPC Kinders (JK & SK)

Class Description

StrawBubs Performers Club (SPC) is a vibrant performing arts program for young children, bringing together singing, dancing, and acting in one playful and supportive space. It’s the perfect opportunity for little ones to explore the performing arts without committing to just one discipline. At SPC, children experience the magic of music, movement, and drama in a fun and welcoming environment. We focus on nurturing confidence, encouraging self-expression, and supporting creativity through engaging, age-appropriate activities. It’s all about letting imaginations soar and creativity shine ✨ Throughout the 12-week block, children will work on the following: 🌟Fun drama games to spark creativity 🌟Reciting poems with a focus on delivery, projection, speech sound articulation and gestures 🌟Engaging in singing warm-ups, vocal exercises and short songs 🌟Dancing and movement to encourage coordination, balance and self expression 🌟The last 5 minutes of each class will be some sensory relaxation time with bubbles, lights and breathing work 🌟Final Performance🌟 This term, we’ll be working towards a mini, informal performance titled “Once Upon a Time”.........where storybooks leap off the page and onto the stage! Little performers will explore fairy-tale heroes, cheeky villains and magical characters through music, movement and drama. Family members will be invited in to watch the last class of the block on June 22nd for an informal presentation of what the children have been working on. No extra cost is involved for the performance and no costume fee as children will wear an outfit they already own. 🌟 Bonus performance opportunity🌟 The children will perform to the residents at Spruce dale Care Centre the week before the final performance on June 15th!
